Malaysia’s climate is hot all year round, with high humidity averaging around 80%. Temperatures range from 21 degrees through to 32 degrees.
Generally speaking Malaysia has two distinct seasons, May to September being the dry season and November to March the wet season.
Travel is possible all year round except on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia when rain is heavy from November to February.

Voltage
You will require an adaptor for all electric appliances taken to Malaysia. The standard voltage is 240V, 50Hz
Visas
Australian passport holders do not require a visa to enter Malaysia for stays less than 2 months. Entry requires travellers to have at least 6 months validity remaining of their passports from the time of entry. Please contact your travel agent at time of travel for current visa information

The basic unit of currency in Malaysia is the Malaysian Ringgit (RM), based on 100 sen to one Ringgit. Coin denominations are 1 sen, 5 sen, 10 sen, 20 sen and 50 sen. Notes are 1, 2, 5 ,10, 50 and 100 Ringgit. |
