If you want to pay your respects to some of Austria’s finest forefathers, head to the Zentralfriedhof, Vienna’s chief – and one of Europe’s largest – cemeteries. With a population of 2.5 million, its most famous ‘residents’ are Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss and Brahms, all of whom are buried here in Tombs of Honour.

Mariahilferstrasse

Vienna's longest shopping street stretches from the Ring to the West Railway Station. You'll find almost every type of retailer, 2 department stores and a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets. The pedestrianised areas of Kärtnerstrasse and the Graben are also favourites and great for those that love to shop!
