Scotland - a proud and colourful region with its own distinct culture, language and accent.

Edinburgh, one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals, is a compact, fascinating centre full of remarkable architecture, famous streets and rich history. Amble along the Royal Mile, visit Edinburgh Castle, experience a Scottish Ceilidh at its best and lose yourself in the atmosphere of this unforgettable city.

Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is crammed with historical buildings including Edinburgh Castle perched high on a rocky crag. Stroll down the Royal Mile, an ancient cobbled street and visit the many speciality shops selling whisky, bagpipes and tartan.

Princes Street offers a great view of the castle, but if its retail therapy you are looking for, then this is the spot. Make sure you leave enough time for refreshments in the many colourful bars and restaurants Edinburgh has to offer.

Glasgow, the shopping capital of Scotland, is crammed with designer boutiques, stylish restaurants and lively pubs. There is much to see and experience, from art galleries, museums and shopping to the city’s colourful nightlife, restaurants and wine bars.

For a completely different experience why not visit the Scottish Highlands, one of Europe’s last true wilderness areas. Hike through hauntingly beautiful Glen Coe; visit romantic Gretna Green; stop at Inverness for a spot of "Nessie" hunting, or splurge on a night or two in a medieval castle.
