There is more to Ireland than Guinness, whiskey and U2!
With history you can touch, feel and experience, Ireland is truly a country that has never lost its heritage. With historical sites including Newgrange and the Boyne Valley you simply absorb the spirituality of early Christianity.
Dublin is the capital of The Republic of Ireland. The energy, humour and relaxed attitude of the locals make it an excellent choice for a visit and enjoyable "craic".
Cork
Every two years Cork hosts Cork Week and is a must for any sailing enthusiast in 2006. Cork is a cosmopolitan city crammed with history and culture. It is a great base for touring the surrounding countryside and scenic coastline including the famous Blarney Castle.
Galway
Galway offers nightlife with enough pubs and clubs to entertain everyone. It is an ideal location for those wanting to explore the Aran Islands which are only a short ferry ride away.
Killarney

Limerick sits on the River Shannon and is a city full of history dating back to the Vikings. It is a great base for touring the surrounding area with sleepy villages, castle ruins and prehistoric remains.
Straffan
Co. Kildare is less than a 1 hour drive from Dublin and has some of the most lucrative stud farms in the world. Straffan in particular will play host to the Ryder Cup in 2006, the first time it has ever been held in Ireland. It really is a perfect time for a visit and maybe have a round of golf.
