Famous for its Italian cuisine and cookbooks this restaurant attracts the rich and famous. Atmosphere and service are fabulous and if you want a special treat then this is the place. You should book well in advance as the restaurant is very popular.

The Ritz Hotel

Tea at the Ritz is an institution in itself and is served in the Palm Court. With a choice of teas, finely cut sandwiches, scones, jam and clotted cream with a range of delicious pastries will make this an unforgettable afternoon. Advance bookings are recommended.

The Prospect of Whitby Public House
57 Wapping Wall, E1W

Found on the banks of the River Thames and said to be the oldest pub in London dating back to 1520. It was formerly known as a meeting place for smugglers and still retains its original flagstones, beams and wooden panelling. They serve traditional food including Sunday roast and an A La Carte as well as many beers, wines and spirits.

Nice pub in a good location and close to Gloucester Road Tube. They offer traditional food at a great price and the plates are huge! The staff are friendly and is a great place for visitors.

Porter’s English Restaurant

Traditional English food in a comfortable environment, serving the best fresh, home cooked food. It is an ideal spot for those wanting to eat before going to the theatre.
