Motorways link all major cities,

pace, hire a car and get off
the beaten track.
Bath:
Situated on the banks of the River Avon, renowned for its beautiful Georgian architecture and famous Roman baths, Bath is a city full of history. Bath has three natural hot springs and while the Romans inhabited the city they built a bath and temple to enjoy this natural thermal which still stand today.
Liverpool:
Liverpool is situated along the famous River Mersey and has long been famous for its 60’s musical background producing the likes of Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermit and how could we forget the most famous band ever – The Beatles. If all before your time, then maybe the names Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney will sit better with the fans of the Merseyside football tradtion.
Manchester:
Manchester has reinvented itself from an industrial city to one of the most exciting cities in Britain with trendy bars and boutique style shopping. It is probably best known for its famous football team - Manchester United.
Oxford:
This famous University City with fine medieval architecture is idea for those wishing to explore the nearby Cotswolds. Today Oxford is also famous amongst the young and old for the Great Hall of Christchurch the grandest of all colleges featured in Harry Potter movies.
Stratford-upon-Avon:
Home of Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway! of which both have brought fame to this pretty town. Situated on the northern point of the Cotswolds Stratford is well worth a visit boasting numerous historical buildings and timber-framed houses.
Windermere:
Windermere is situated near Lake Windermere and is the largest lake in England. The scenery, lake and wooded hills of the Lake District area are a photographs delight. This area also inspired Beatrix Potter to write her tales of Peter Rabbit and you can stroll around the Beatrix Potter Gallery and see some of the early drawings.
York:
This historical walled City has so much to offer with its medieval streets, Georgian townhouses, Gothic York Minster and the cobbled streets of The Shambles. Betty’s Tea Room with its famous cakes and tea is an institute in North Yorkshire, and is a must on any itinerary for afternoon tea after all that walking.
Guernsey – Channel Islands:
Famous for the best beaches in the UK and dramatic scenery Guernsey is ideal for those that want to just get away from it all, as did Victor Hugo making Guernsey his extravagant refuge. The island offers a unique look at island life and is magical experience for lovers on the great outdoors.
Jersey – Channel Islands:
From the moment you arrivie in Jersey you will find an Island of breathtaking beauty with an abundance of nature. A charming mixture of English, French culture and where you will find the best things in life.
