Two breathtaking islands renowned for their white-sand beaches, coral reefs and turquoise waters, which earned Koh Phi Phi its reputation as an island paradise.
Koh Phi Phi Lee
Koh Phi Phi Lee is now famous as the setting of the 1999 movie adaptation of Alex Garland’s book, The Beach, with Loh Samah and Maya Bay providing the stunning backdrops. This island is largely uninhabited but you can arrange day trips, with Maya Bay being a popular spot for diving and snorkelling. You can also request a visit to the Viking Cave, home of the lucrative – and controversial – Birds Nest Soup business.
Koh Phi Phi Don
Ton Sai village is the commercial and
nightlife centre of Koh Phi Phi Don and is a great place to relax and unwind as the sun goes down, or party into the night if the mood takes you. One of the most popular places is Hippies Bar, which offers a seaview bar and restaurant, complete with nightly fire juggling shows.
