DAY 1 Arrive in Prague There will be a welcome briefing in the late afternoon and distribution of rental bikes (if booked) in Prague. Overnight in Prague. DAY 2 Prague In this beautiful city, many places of interest can be admired. Visit the Hradschin with the old king palace, stroll over the well-known Karlsbridge or dive into the diversified nightlife with innumerable cultural events. Overnight in Prague. DAY 3 Prague - Melnik approx. 55km Today you cycle along the river Moldau. The strains of ascents are instantly rewarded by fast descents. Admire the mouth of Moldau and Elbe from the palace hill of Melnik. Melnik is the heart of the Bohemian wine growing area. Overnight in Melnik DAY 4 Melnik - Leitmeritz approx. 50km Via Roudnice, you reach the fortress Terezin. From Terezin only a few kilometres have to be covered to reach today's destination - Litomerice, with its beautiful houses. Overnight in Litomerice. DAY 5 Leitmeritz - Decin approx. 50km After only about20 km you reach the city Usti nad Labem Aussig. On the way, you can admire the ruin of the old fortress Schreckenstein (literally meaning 'horror-castle') situated on the right bank on top of a 100m high steep rock. Reach Decin in the afternoon. Overnight in Decin. DAY 6 Decin - Pirna approx. 45km Today you cross the border into Germany and soon you'll see the first massive sandstone rocks of the Elbe. Past bizarre rock formations the Elbe flows past the fortress Konigstein (King Stone). Visit the biggest fortification and enjoy the wonderful view into the Elb valley. Overnight in Pirna. DAY 7 Pirna - Dresden approx. 25km Past castle Pillnitz, cycle to Dresden. You pass the 'blue wonder' and the palaces at the river.
